Basketball is not just a game of atheltic skill and execution but also a game of emotions. MVHS Lady Diablos Basketball  strongly believes in developing players not only through skill but more importantly, through fundaMENTAL development.  What will you do as a player if you are very skilled athletically but lacking the fundaMENTAL skills of the mind?  I'm sure you have seen many professional players who are gifted in skill and athleticism but never seemed to take it to the next level or carry their team deep into the playoffs or a championship.  Being a fundaMENTALLY sound player is what separates elite athletes from good athletes.  I'm talking about the players that know they can get the job done.  The ones that know the shot is going to swish through before they even shoot the ball.  The ones that want the ball when the game is on the line.  The ones that feel if they don't take the initiative to will their team to a win, no one else will.  Be the best player you can personally be not only through skill but through mind.  Accomplish this and you will become the ultimate complete basketball player.
