Coach Dave Shute is entering his 2nd season as the head Varsity girls basketball coach at MVHS. He previously coached at Dana Hills High School. Coach Dave Shute also coaches TSIN (The Season Is Now) club teams that have been very successful in AAU competition.
 Coach Marv Lim is entering his 1st year as the head girls JV basketball coach and varsity assistant. Before joining the Diablo Ladies basketball family, Coach Marv previously coached at Santa Margarita Catholic High School and was on the MVHS boys coaching staff for two years serving as the head JV boys coach. Coach Marv is detail oriented and loves to teach the fundamental skills of the game as well as developing the player's basketball I.Q. He also runs basketball camps and private training through MonsterGameBasketball.com where players can enhance their defensive and offensive fundamentals of the game.
Coach Marv would like to thank his wife Jaclyn and his two sons Kevin and Darren for their support. During his free time, Coach Marv loves to spend time with his family, collecting sports memorabilia, watching high school, college, and NBA basketball as well as playing the game itself. Coach Marv and his family resides in the city of Mission Viejo.
